Come join your fellow mediators for the ADR Quarterly Training on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.  We will have Mirna Herrera, HHS -SAMHSA Regional Behavioral Health Advisor, speak with us on understanding, responding, and assisting individuals with Behavioral Health conditions. Approximately one in four Missourians live with a behavioral health condition whether it’s a mental illness and/or substance misuse. This training will provide an overview of common mental health diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar, as well as substance use disorders. We will discuss effective ways to respond to and deescalate situations using trauma informed care principles. Participants will also receive information on how to help people with behavioral health conditions using the 988 lifeline and learn about available local resources in the community.  Thank you for your participation in the ADR program.
