International Student Flag Ceremony

On behalf of Kirby R. Brown, SES, Deputy to the Commanding General, US Army Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth, you are cordially invited to attend the International Student Flag Ceremony, at the Command and General Staff College on August 13, 2018.  The ceremony begins at 9 am and should conclude by 10:30 am.  Following the ceremony you are invited to tour the Army Management Staff College that is now available for Kansas City Metro federal employees to participate in leadership education. Please see attached. There will also be a windshield tour of the fort followed by lunch.

The International Student Flag Ceremony signifies the opening of the new CGSC class with the foreign officers placing their country’s flag on stage with all the other countries participating in the course.  This year’s class will involve 95 countries.  These officers will participate in class for the year with the 1100 US military students (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force) in addition to the 30 interagency students from various federal agencies.

0900 – 1030 – Flag Ceremony, Lewis and Clark Center

1045 – 1130 – CAC Overview, Army Management Staff College, Eisenhower Hall

1140 – 1210 – Windshield tour of Fort Leavenworth

1220 – 1315 – Lunch, Frontier Conference Center
