The FEB is happy to offer a free seminar which will help employee deal with on-going changes at work and at home. This class will include an understanding of the fundamental concepts and major theories associated with change. The primary goal of this class is to provide participants the knowledge to successfully lead themselves and others through change. The focus here is on practical application.
This class will rely on student interaction and discussion to drive the learning outcomes. It will include multiple small group interactions and facilitated class-wide discussions. Seminar activities will illustrate how individuals react to change and how those reactions can be better understood and addressed in the workplace. Students are expected to participate in both small breakout and in large group virtual settings. The class is applicable for government employees at any grade and across a wide spectrum of Agency experience.
The major concepts and references are provided in a slide packet at the conclusion of the class for participants.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand how and why people respond to change the way they do.
- Understand how and when to take action to lead change, rather than just react to it.
